Excel Saga: In order to cleanse this corrupt world, it must first be united. Under that ideology, Lord Il Palazzo aims to conquer and rule the world. Eventually. But first, he must conquer a country, and before that, he must conquer a city. The only problem is that to do something like that requires a large amount of resources, but in all of Across, his organization dedicated to world conquest, there are only two agents: himself and his dedicated (see: obsessed) follower, Excel. And unfortunately for Il Palazzo, Excel gives new meaning to the word "incompetence." Following the antics of Excel, her pet dog and emergency food source, Mince, and eventually, fellow incompetent Across agents Hyatt and Elgala, Excel Saga is a comedy about the failures of Across and its agents as they try to help their leader take over the world (eventually).
Samurai Deeper Kyo: In feudal Japan, a legendary killer made a name for himself in a war. Famed for killing over 1000 people and for his blood red eyes, Demon Eyes Kyo was a name that incited fear in the hearts of even the bravest of men. Four years later, Demon Eyes Kyo has disappeared without a trace, and an obscenely large bounty has been placed on his head to make sure that he stays that way. Enter Shiina Yuya. A bounty hunter seeking revenge on the man who killed her brother, and more immediately, traveling money to continue her search, Yuya encounters Mibu Kyoshiro, who she initially mistakes for Kyo due to him having similar features to the man described on the bounty poster (despite being a different height and lacking red eyes, Kyo's most famous feature). However, upon discovering that Kyoshiro also has a (small) bounty on his head, Yuya begins dragging him along with her, searching for a place to cash in on his bounty at. However, when the duo finds themselves ambushed by a group of thieves, Kyoshiro's eyes turn red and he slaughters all of them with ease. Could Kyoshiro really be Demon Eyes Kyo?
